An Official Association of The Students, For the Students, By The Students. An Association which was developed to create a Greater Sense of Responsibility among the Budding Hospitality Professionals.

The SEC is headed by a General Manager who belongs to the final or the senior most batch of students. The other designations are that of the F&B Manager, Front Office Manager, Executive Chef, Executive Housekeeper, Event Manager, Training and Placement Executive.

All these Designations are taken up by the students and they manage the Institution within their limited authorities just as they would manage a Hotel or a Hospitality related organization.

Duties of the SEC are;
1. Organizing Fresher’s Parties & Farewell Parties
2. The Magazine called – IHMCT Nouvelle
3. Food & Beverage Festivals like…Pizza Festival, The China Town Fest, Bakefest etc
4. The Student Cafeteria Management.

5. The Annual Function called, “Navtarang”

6. National  Level Professional Competitions

This SEC promotes students to showcase their varied talents and the best part is that it is the students only who are the motivators!!
